Hallo Peoples!

So, you must really want to know a thing or two about me if you've taken the trouble to get here. I hate those tiny boxes in profiles asking us to write all about ourselves, knowing full well everyone who feels the slightest interest, (or perhaps not even), will be likely to read it. I like the comfort of this page, where I feel pretty confident I won't be so exposed :P

Obviously, I'm a pretty private person. If I trust you, that means you've earned it. I like to think the best of people while maintaining the ability to see the truth behind their words.. read between the lines, as it were. Admittedly, this can lead to being over analytical, especially in matters not pertaining to assessing others' character, but rather in my personal work. I like to go with my natural instincts, balancing them with reason and integrity. I've found that intrinsic feeling will always lead me in the right direction. I feel that Deeper understanding can be discovered with research and analysis, but gut feelings usually show me where best to find the answer.

My feeling is that we already know the answers to the questions we ask ourselves, we just have to believe in the power to see them. If you have trouble with this concept, you might wanna try a little introspection.. basically that means 'look at yourself objectively to find the reasons for the things we do'. Not an easy thing to accomplish, (not to mention it's a life-long endeavor), and I find I put it off much too often, having to do it all at once a couple times a year instead of once every.. well, I don't know how long, I've never been that consistent a person anyway. I guess I could rationalize putting off being introspective by saying I don't want to be "over-analytical" :P

*shakes her head to clear her thoughts and focus!*

So yeah, Anyway. About me. I like to write. I like to read. I like to stumble around the internet for interesting tidbits. (See www.stumbleupon.com for good bits of said tid!). In RL I am also in customer service. I enjoy people, but I desperately need my introverted self-energizing time, which includes not only the above, but guitar playing, jewelry making and singing. Outdoors I like to hike, horseback ride, canoe, camp...

HEY.. how did this turn into RL.. this is supposed to be my fantasy land! Which SL most certainly is. No matter how good those RL activities are, I always need to get in my SL time where I certainly escape to some wonderful people.

My Boy: Rob. He'd been away from SecondLife for some time, and I misseed him dearly. He's always been a great constant in my life, and he's always been very dependable. He's very sweet, and extremely loyal. He is quite disciplined and I know that anything I ask of him will be carried out with care and determination. I have the utmost confidence in him as a person and as a sub. I cannot tell you how very comforting it is to come home to a man on his knees looking up in the mere hopes of a chance to worship you... you might find my withholding from him cruel, (not to mention surprising), but I personally derive an intense pleasure from it :P

My Ex: Okay, so 'ex' is a pretty harsh term to describe this super special person... er, friend. Alo's been in my life for almost as long as I've been part of SecondLife, and in the past we've spent many a night talking till the wee hours. He's one of the most intelligent, pragmatic and understanding people I've known in either life, and I miss the level of closeness we'd come to know. I'll always value his friendship, but things will never be the same.

My Lesbian Lover: Well, maybe not. But she wishes she were! or, used to;  She's married a lovely girl, and I wish them all the best. (Especially since I don't happen to have as much 'lesbian' in me as I'd expect any self respecting sticker licker to have). Anyway, Hollywood is way hot and way talented. the sexiest part of her is her wit, but my favorite quality of hers, that which I most admire, is her serene diplomacy. She never ceases to amaze me by the warm professionalism she approaches each and any of her businesses. Check out a smidgen of her talents Here, where she showcases her photography and PhotoShopping skills.

So. That's it. Now you know those people closest to me. If you're looking for a sub, don't ask to borrow mine, he's soooo not for rent. Also, no matter who you are, don't expect him to be subservient to you in the least unless I tell him to be. (He's always respectful to others however, as his degree of personal integrity is very high). He is extremely loyal, and does not wish to sub for anyone but me.

Good friends are hard to find, whether it's in real life or in SecondLife. Some people will stick by you, and others will let their personal needs get in the way of seeing yours. I consider myself lucky to have these three people in my life, they've always been there for me and it's a priviledge to be there for them.

Much Love,

Lex.
